This talk and walk is part of the between the storms project, exploring the heritage of Folkestone as a cross-channel port. We started this project in April 2014, it will run until the end of 2015. We are collecting your memories of Folkestone's time as a cross-channel port. The collection includes spoken memories, writings, images and videos. The talk included sound bites from our oral history interviews and old photos and was followed by a guided walk around the harbour. This event was very well attended, thank you to all involved but especially to Janice Carrera, the Walker family, Sally & Kay at the town hall and Annie Catford who took these photos.
